Women's shot put...

I'm not sure what happened in the women's shot. You are right, Henderson was well below her seed distance and was only 7th. She should have been top 3 no question if all goes well. Flashresults shows she scratched on 4 of the 6 throws, so something was off for her on Saturday. Like you said, that created the issue with only a 10 lead on Duke going into a strong event for them.

Malikova is very talented, but her best distance is longer than 400m. She looks like she could be a really good 1500m runner (good speed and strength combination). I think she ran the 400 because they had Butler and Ballowe in the 800.
